My first guitar pick-up.
41AWG magnet wire, 8,000 turns, Resistance @ 7.5
on the left is an empty bobbin sitting on it's magnet.
The second picture shows the bottom of the pick-up
and how the screws engage the magnet
Pick-up winder below,
Variable speed drill, that locks on and then you can adjust
the spinning speed by a dial on the drills trigger, very handy.
The magnet wire runs through the fishing rod guide
then through a felt tensioner, The wire then exits
the tensioner and runs under a wheel.
the wire is then guided on to the bobbin by hand.
